What do I need to get started?

A camera that records GPS, a free Race Ninja account, and a video of your session. That's it. A GoPro Hero 9, 10, 11 or 13 has GPS built in. DJI Action 4, 5, 6 and the Osmo 360 need the DJI GPS Remote paired before you record.

- ✅ Compatible camera (GoPro Hero 9, 10, 11 or 13 with GPS switched on, or a DJI Action 4, 5, 6 or Osmo 360 with the DJI GPS Remote paired)
- ✅ Race Ninja account (sign up for free at race.ninja)
- ✅ Racing video with GPS data (recorded at your track day or race)
GPS has to be live before you press record. On a GoPro, turn it on in settings and give it a minute or two outdoors for a lock. You'll see a solid GPS icon when it's ready. On a DJI, pair and switch on the GPS Remote first.

Once You're Ready
The workflow is simple:
- Upload: Head to your Garage and upload your video
- Wait: about a minute of processing per lap. 360 footage takes longer because it's stitched first.
- Analyze: Review your lap times, racing line, and performance insights
- Improve: Use the data to identify areas for improvement and track your progress
