If your question is 'how do I analyse DJI racing footage', the answer is boring on purpose: pair the remote, keep originals, upload, read sectors. Don't overcomplicate it with three export apps. Complexity is how GPS dies on the cutting-room floor.
Common questions about DJI lap timing
Can the DJI Osmo 360 record lap times?
Yes, if you pair DJI's GPS Bluetooth remote. The camera has no GPS chip of its own. The remote writes position into the footage. Upload that file and Race Ninja times the laps.
What about DJI Action 4, 5 or 6 for racing analysis?
Same rule. Pair the GPS remote, film, upload. You get lap times, sectors and coaching. The sample rate is coarser than a modern GoPro, still fine for lap trends and finding the slow corner.
Is DJI Mimo sports data enough?
Mimo stickers are fun for social clips. They're not a session debrief. If you want sector honesty and coaching against the video, upload the file here instead of stopping at a speed badge.
What hardware do I need?
Camera plus the DJI GPS remote, paired before you go out. No transponder. No logger on the seat. Forget the remote and you get great video with nothing to analyse. Ask me how I know.
