Can I upload multiple videos at once?
Last updated: January 30, 2026
Yes, you can upload multiple videos at once using our desktop app. This is especially useful after a track day when you have several sessions to upload.
Desktop App: Batch Upload
Our desktop application supports uploading multiple video files simultaneously. Here's how it works:
- Download the desktop app: Visit your account settings or garage page to download the Race Ninja desktop app for your platform (Windows, macOS, or Linux).
- Select multiple files: Use Ctrl+Click (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+Click (macOS) to select multiple video files at once.
- Uploads run in parallel: The app will upload your videos simultaneously, making better use of your internet connection.
- Background processing: You can close the app - uploads will continue in the background and you'll get notifications when they complete.
- Auto-resume: If your connection drops, the app will automatically resume uploads when reconnected.
Why use the desktop app for batch uploads?
- ✅ Upload multiple videos simultaneously
- ✅ Faster upload speeds with parallel transfers
- ✅ More reliable for large files (over 1GB)
- ✅ Auto-resume if your connection is interrupted
- ✅ Background uploads - close the app and come back later
Web Upload: One at a Time
The web interface currently supports uploading one video at a time. This works well for:
- Quick single-session uploads
- Smaller files (under 1GB)
- When you don't want to install additional software
- Mobile device uploads (phones, tablets)
For most users after a track day with multiple sessions, the desktop app is the better choice.
Download the Desktop App
You can download the desktop app from:
- Your Garage page: Look for the "Desktop App" link in the top navigation
- Account Settings: Find download links under "Tools & Apps"
- Upload page: We'll suggest the desktop app for large file uploads
The desktop app is available for Windows 10+, macOS 11+, and Linux (Ubuntu 20.04+).
Typical Batch Upload Workflow
