Take the Perfect Lap with you
You can now download your Perfect Lap as an MP4 from the Video Editor tab on any Race Ninja session, so you can keep it or share it. The Perfect Lap is built from your quickest sector times across a session, stitched into one lap. You can also play it side by side with a normal lap in Head to Head to see where your line, braking and corner speed differ. It works from ordinary GoPro or DJI footage, and you get one free analysis every month.
The Perfect Lap is the feature people tell us they love most. It's you at your best, every sector stitched together from the laps where you got it exactly right.
Now you can keep it.
How to download your Perfect Lap
Open the Video Editor on any session and your Perfect Lap is sitting there with your lap videos, ready to download and named so you'll still know what it is in six months. Send it to your engine builder, or stick it on the club WhatsApp group. It's yours.
This applies to sessions processed from now on. If you'd like your older Perfect Laps done too, send us a message on Discord and we'll sort it.
Compare the Perfect Lap with a normal lap
Head to Head has always been able to run your Perfect Lap against any other lap, and it's one of the sharpest tools in the app. Now it's front and centre, with a button that pairs the Perfect Lap against your typical lap in a single click.
Not your fastest lap. Your typical one. The gap between what you managed on your best lap and what you do most laps is where your next tenth is actually hiding.
Show and hide laps across every graph
The telemetry graphs let you show and hide individual laps, which is the quickest way to cut through a busy session. That control is now clearly labelled, and your choice carries across every graph at once. Click a lap in any legend and it updates everywhere.
Comparing eight laps over four graphs used to mean picking them out four times. Now it's one click, and the noise drops away.
Thanks to Niik on our Discord, who came in off his first session with us. He told us plenty about what was already working, then picked out details we'd walked straight past a hundred times. That's the good stuff. And because we're chasing perfection round here, we built all four the same week.
It all runs off ordinary GoPro or DJI footage. Spotted something you'd sharpen? You know where we are.
