The Race Ninja homepage now plays real customer laps with live telemetry, racing lines coloured by speed zones, and sector times that light up as the video runs. Every page reload picks a different driver. Make your analysis public and you're in the rotation. Here's how to get your lap up there.

Race Ninja homepage hero showing a real customer's lap video, mini racing-line map coloured by speed zones, performance trace and live telemetry stats

This week a Junior Rotax lap at Llandow Kart Circuit came up on the Race Ninja homepage. Then a session from Daytona Sandown Park took over for a few visits. Then somebody at Kartomania International Circuit in India.

We've started using real drivers as our heroes. Literally on the front page.

The video isn't stock footage anymore. It's a real customer's lap from their fastest valid session, pulled live from their public showcase. Their racing line draws on a mini track map underneath, coloured by speed zones. Red for the slow corners, purple for the straights. Their sector times sit below that, each one lighting up as the video runs through it. Speed, lateral G, current sector and elapsed time update on every frame.

Every page reload picks a different driver. So a visitor who refreshes a few times might watch four different real laps from four different countries before they leave.

How to get yours up there

Two minutes of work.

Open an analysis on your dashboard. Hit "Make Public" on the analysis page. That's it. Race Ninja picks your fastest valid lap with video and telemetry attached, then drops it into the rotation. There's a small bonus too. Every public share earns you a free analysis credit.

If you've already made an analysis public at any point, you're already in the pool. Nothing more to do.

What gets shown

Your lap time. Your initial and surname, so 'S. Carter', not your full name. The track you raced at. The country flag. Your race class and camera model if they're recorded on the lap. Then the racing line, the sector tape with your sector times, and live telemetry from your actual file.

Visitors can click through to your full showcase page if they want the deeper breakdown.

What we don't show. Your full name. Your email. Your other sessions. Anything you didn't already publish.

What you can take down

The same toggle that made it public switches it back. Once private, the homepage stops picking up your lap on the next pool refresh, usually within ten minutes. No support request, no waiting.

Why we did this

Honestly, because a real karter at Zhaga Shvydkosti in Kyiv pulling a fast lap is more interesting than anything we could have staged. We used to run pre-rendered overlay clips that gestured at the product. Now we run the product itself.

A second reason. You keep doing impressive things on track and we don't shout about them enough. The homepage now does some of that shouting for us.

If you'd like a turn in the spotlight, the door's open. Make a session public. The next visitor to race.ninja might watch your line.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get my lap on the homepage?
Open an analysis from your dashboard and click Make Public on the analysis page. Race Ninja picks your fastest valid lap with video and telemetry attached and drops it into the homepage rotation. You also get a free analysis credit for sharing publicly.
What does the homepage actually show from my lap?
Your lap time, your initial and surname, the track, the country flag, your race class and camera if they're recorded, plus the racing line coloured by speed zones, the sector tape with your sector times, and live speed, lateral G, sector and elapsed time updating from your telemetry.
Can I take my lap down later?
Yes. The same Make Public toggle switches the analysis back to private at any time. Once private, it drops out of the homepage rotation on the next pool refresh, usually within ten minutes.
Will my full name be shown?
No. Only your first initial and surname appear, so 'Sarah Carter' shows as 'S. Carter'. Your email and the rest of your profile stay private. Visitors can only see what's already on your public showcase page.
