Race Ninja now charts your kart's engine pull and grip lap by lap across a whole session, so you can see exactly when power or tyre grip starts to fade. If your lap times drop off late in a run, the graph tells you whether it's the engine heat-soaking, the tyres going off, or the track losing grip, so you can fix pressures, gearing or your run plan instead of guessing. It works from a normal GoPro session, and you get one free analysis every month.
Watch your lap times across a long run and you'll feel it before you can prove it. The first few laps are sharp. Then, somewhere past half distance, the kart stops finding the same time even though you're driving just as hard. Tenths leak away and you can't quite say where.

On the results page, the Engine & Chassis Performance panel now draws a lap-by-lap graph of how your kart really performed, from your first flying lap to your last. Not one average for the whole session. Every lap, plotted, so the trend jumps straight out at you.
What the graph actually shows
Two stories, side by side. One line follows your engine pull, how hard the kart drives off the corners for the grip it had to work with. The other follows your grip baseline, which is really your tyres and the track surface doing the talking. Peak braking and peak cornering load ride along on there too.
Flat, high lines across the whole run mean you had a good day. Lines that sag toward the end? That sag is your lost time, made visible.
When it's the engine
Say your grip line holds steady but your pull line drops away after lap eight. That's not you fading. That's power fading, and it's usually heat. An engine that's heat-soaking, or a mixture drifting rich as everything gets hot. Now you can see the exact lap it started, carry that back to the tent, and do something about it before the next run instead of after the meeting.
When it's grip
The other shape is the common one. Pull holds, but the grip baseline slides down lap after lap. Tyres going off, or pressures creeping past their sweet spot as the run goes on. This is the read that tells you to drop a few tenths of a psi next time out, or to send your quick laps in early before the rears give up on you.
And sometimes both lines fall together. That's usually the track itself losing grip on the whole field, and the graph stops you blaming your kart for something everyone out there is fighting.
Turning a hunch into a plan
Before, "it went off near the end" was a feeling you carried to the setup sheet and half-guessed at. Now it's a shape on a screen with a lap number attached to it. Pressures, gearing, when you go for the time, even whether that engine wants a proper look, all of it gets easier once you can see which one was actually costing you.
Every lap on that graph comes off your own footage, timed and verified the same way, so the trend you're reading is the real thing and not a stopwatch guess.

Film a full run
Run a GoPro for a proper session, not just a couple of laps. The longer the run, the clearer the fade shows up on the graph.

Upload from your garage
Send the footage up from your Race Ninja upload page. Lap timing and telemetry run on their own, no stopwatch needed.

Open the results overview
Go to the analysis and stay on the Overview tab. The Engine & Chassis Performance panel holds the lap-by-lap trend graph.

Read the trend
Follow the engine pull and grip baseline lines across the laps. A line that sags toward the end is your lost time, and the lap it starts tells you what to change.
