How to Generate Sponsor Reports & Social Media Posts

Last updated: April 3, 2026

Overview

Race Ninja can automatically generate professional reports and social media content from your session data. Choose between a Sponsor Report — a data-driven progress report suitable for sponsors and team principals — or Social Media Posts — ready-to-use posts tailored for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.

This feature is available on Clubman and Pro plans.

How to Generate a Report

  1. Click Reports in the navigation bar.
  2. Choose a Report Type: Quarterly, Monthly, Single Session, or Custom Date Range.
  3. Choose an Output Format: Sponsor Report or Social Media Posts.
  4. Optionally enter a Target Audience (e.g. "Red Bull Junior Team") and any Custom Mentions you'd like included.
  5. For Single Session or Custom reports, select which sessions to include using the checkboxes.
  6. Click Generate.

Reports typically take 30–60 seconds to generate. You'll see a spinning indicator while it's in progress, and the report will appear in your reports table when ready.

Sponsor Reports

Sponsor reports are professional, data-driven documents designed to share with sponsors, team principals, and stakeholders. They include:

  • Executive Summary — a concise overview of the reporting period
  • Performance Statistics — total sessions, laps, best/average lap times, locations visited
  • Session Analysis — per-track breakdowns with specific lap references
  • Highlights & Achievements — personal bests, overtakes, improvements
  • Areas of Development — honest but positively framed improvement areas
  • Weather Impact — how conditions affected performance
  • Outlook — forward-looking goals based on data trends

All statistics in the report are drawn directly from your actual session data — nothing is fabricated.

Social Media Posts

Social media reports generate three ready-to-use posts, one for each platform:

Facebook

A longer narrative post suited to Facebook's community-driven format. Includes inline hashtags and suggestions for what photo or video to attach.

Instagram

A visual-first caption optimised for Instagram's constraints (up to 2,200 characters, up to 30 hashtags). Includes advice on whether to post as a Reel, carousel, or single image.

TikTok

A short, punchy caption (max 150 characters for the on-screen overlay) plus a longer description. Includes trending-friendly hashtags and advice on how to hook viewers in the first 2 seconds.

Each platform card has a Copy Post button to copy the text to your clipboard, and a Go to [Platform] button that opens the site in a new tab so you can paste and post immediately.

Tips for Better Reports

  • More sessions = richer reports. Quarterly reports with 5+ sessions produce the most detailed analysis.
  • Use Target Audience to tailor the tone — "Primary school sponsors" will produce different language than "Professional racing team".
  • Custom Mentions let you include context the AI wouldn't know, like "Won the club championship" or "First time at this track".
  • Sessions must have AI coaching completed to be included in reports.

Managing Reports

All your generated reports appear in the table on the Reports page. You can:

  • View any completed report by clicking "View"
  • Delete reports you no longer need
  • Generate up to 3 reports at a time (additional requests will be queued)
