Every track has a champion now. Think it should be you?

Track Champions show the fastest verified lap per race class on every Race Ninja track page. Every time is backed by the onboard video that produced it, so no footage means no time on the board. Compete from £9.99 a month: upload a session, set your race class and kart, and your best time joins automatically.

There's a name at the top of every class at every circuit on Race Ninja now. A champion. The fastest verified lap in that class at that track, sitting right on the track page with the kart it was set in.

Nobody voted. Nobody claimed it over the awning. The time came out of onboard footage, the same way every time on Race Ninja does, so there's nothing left to argue about. It's not whoever talks the best race in the WhatsApp group. It's whoever drove fastest.

No mouth. Just pure pace.

This is the bit that makes our boards different. A lap time on its own is just a number somebody typed in. Every time on Race Ninja is welded to the video that produced it, so a time here is more than talk. No footage, no time. Simple as that. We think that makes this the only place a lap time can actually be trusted.

Open any track page and the champions are right there, one for every class with a time set. The full leaderboard sits one tap away, filtered by class or season, and every entry is dated by when the session was actually driven, not when it was uploaded.

And your footage stays private. Going on the board shares your time, your initial and surname, your class and your kart. That's the lot. They know you're quick. They don't get to study how.

Want your name up there? Two things put you on the board: a paid plan, from £9.99 a month, and a tagged session. Upload your footage, set your race class and kart, and your best lap is in the fight automatically. Beat the champion and the crown moves. No ceremony. The table just changes.

One more thing. Being champion is about to start meaning more, and we'll have news on that soon. Which is exactly why the boards have to stay honest. The technology that checks every lap before it counts isn't something we'll ever publish, and that's deliberate. Think you can game it? We dare you. ;)

Your GoPro already knows if you're quick enough. Find your track and see the time you need to beat.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get on a Race Ninja track leaderboard?
Upload a session on a paid plan (from £9.99 a month), then set your race class and kart on the analysis. Your best lap at that track is listed automatically, and your footage stays private.
How are Track Champions decided?
The champion is the fastest verified lap per race class at each circuit, measured from real onboard video telemetry. Beat that time in a listed session and the title changes hands.
Can Race Ninja leaderboard times be faked?
Every time on a Race Ninja board comes from onboard video telemetry and is checked before it counts. A lap time without footage never reaches a board. We do not publish how the checks work, and that is deliberate.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. 1

    Pick a paid plan

Leaderboard listing is open to paid plans from £9.99 a month. Free Rookie accounts can view the boards but not appear on them.

  2. 2

    Upload your session

Send your GoPro or DJI footage to Race Ninja. Your lap times come straight from the video, so there is no separate logger to fit.

  3. 3

Set your race class and kart

Tag the analysis with your race class and equipment. Your best lap at that track then joins the board automatically.

  4. 4

Beat the time at the top

Go faster than the current class record and the champion title moves to you. Your footage stays private, only the time goes public.
