About Circuit Park Berghem

A versatile circuit at Berghem in the Dutch province of Noord-Brabant, established back in 1970. What sets it apart is flexibility: the site can be configured into 19 named layouts, from a short 380m loop up to the 1,300m Grand Prix circuit, which is the longest outdoor kart track in the Netherlands.

It hosts two of the four rounds of the Dutch national karting championship, run on the 1,100m competition layout. In 2024 the owners fitted a MYLAPS X2 race control system with digital flag panels and LED start lights, sharpening up safety. The rental fleet runs electric karts, and there's a bistro overlooking the track.

Tips for New Drivers

With so many layout options, ask which configuration is running before you set your expectations. The Grand Prix layout is a proper test of stamina at 1,300m. The electric rentals are quiet and quick off the corners, which catches some people out on traction. There's no minimum age for rental heats, just a height requirement, so it's family-friendly for an afternoon.
