About Larkhall

Larkhall Circuit International is the longest and arguably the most prestigious kart track in Scotland. Located just off the M74, it is the spiritual home of Scottish motorsport—legends like David Coulthard, Dario Franchitti, and Allan McNish all cut their teeth here with the West of Scotland Kart Club.

The circuit offers 2 different track layouts ranging from 300m to 1140m, with adult karts reaching 60 mph.

Facilities include Cafe, Floodlights, Food Available, Kart Shop, Licensed Bar and more.

Tips for New Drivers

Dress for the weather. Larkhall is outdoors so you'll want layers in winter and sun cream in summer. These karts are properly fast. Smooth inputs matter more than aggression here. Arrive at least 15 minutes before your session for the briefing and to get kitted out. Wear closed-toe shoes and clothes you don't mind getting a bit grubby. Don't eat a massive meal right before racing. Trust us on this one.
