Located adjacent to the iconic Haynes International Motor Museum in Sparkford, Somerset, "Karting at Haynes" delivers a brilliant, high-octane outdoor motorsport experience. Operated by South West Karting, this standalone 400-metre technical circuit utilizes the very same historic tarmac where F1 World Champion Jenson Button once practiced.

The circuit offers 2 different track layouts ranging from 300m to 400m, with adult karts reaching 50 mph.

Tips for New Drivers

Dress for the weather. Karting at Haynes is outdoors so you'll want layers in winter and sun cream in summer. These karts are properly fast. Smooth inputs matter more than aggression here. Arrive at least 15 minutes before your session for the briefing and to get kitted out. They provide racewear, but bring your own gloves if you prefer. Closed-toe shoes are a must. Don't eat a massive meal right before racing. Trust us on this one.
