About Rødby Karting Ring

Denmark's only internationally CIK-FIA homologated outdoor karting track. The 1,246m circuit is 8-12m wide with 8 right turns and 6 left turns, running on professional asphalt. It has hosted the FIA Karting European Championship.

Adult karts (Sodi RT10, Honda 390cc, 13hp) reach 85 km/h. Juniors from age 7 drive Sodi LR6 karts (Honda GX200, 5.5hp) at up to 60 km/h. Located near the Rodby ferry terminal, making it easy to reach from across Scandinavia.

Tips for New Drivers

The 14-turn layout mixes left and right corners evenly, so you can't get away with only being quick in one direction. Trail braking pays off here. Danish weather is unpredictable. The track is exposed near the coast so wind affects handling, especially on the faster sections. If you're travelling by ferry from Germany, it's right next to the Rodby terminal.
