About Karting Track Pautalia

Named after the ancient Roman name for Kyustendil, this track in southwestern Bulgaria sits near a pine forest and offers up to 1,050m of circuit across four different layout configurations.

The track hosts major Bulgarian endurance events including the EKO 8 Hours of Bulgaria, the 4 Hours, and the 24 Hours of Bulgaria. Kart rental is available daily, and flood lighting extends sessions into the evening. National championship and Supermoto events also run here.

Tips for New Drivers

The pine forest setting keeps temperatures a few degrees cooler than the surrounding area, which is a bonus in Bulgarian summers. But the tree line can throw shadows across the track in late afternoon, creating tricky light transitions. Endurance events here are the real deal. If you're visiting for an 8-hour or 24-hour race, sort your driver rotation early and bring supplies. Kyustendil itself is worth exploring for its Roman-era thermal baths.
