What cameras are supported?

Race Ninja supports GoPro cameras with GPS and the DJI Osmo 360 (with Bluetooth GPS Remote). We rely on GPS telemetry to calculate lap times, speeds, and racing lines, so GPS is essential for all supported cameras.

📡 DJI Osmo 360 — Bluetooth GPS Remote Required
The DJI Osmo 360 does not have built-in GPS. To use it with Race Ninja, you must pair the DJI Bluetooth GPS Remote before recording. This accessory provides the GPS telemetry we need for lap timing and speed data.
⚠️ GoPro Hero 12 Not Supported
The GoPro Hero 12 does not have GPS and cannot be used with Race Ninja. We require GPS telemetry for all our analytics features.
Good news: The Hero 12 uses the same batteries and accessories as the Hero 10 and 11, so swapping to a compatible model is straightforward.
Trade-in tip: At the time of writing, trade-in services like CeX offer a hassle-free route. Getting a voucher often gives better value, which you can use towards a Hero 11 with their standard warranty.
What About Other Cameras?
We support GoPro and the DJI Osmo 360. GoPro is the industry standard for motorsport with proven GPS accuracy and reliability. The DJI Osmo 360 brings something unique: an interactive 360° video player that lets you look in any direction as you replay your laps — a completely different way to review your on-track footage.
We may support additional cameras in the future, but these are our supported platforms right now.
