About Sologne Karting
At roughly 1,500m, Salbris is one of the longest kart circuits in the world. The ASK Salbris club created it in 1990 on an 18-hectare park in the forested, lake-dotted Sologne region of central France, about 90 minutes south of Paris.
It held the CIK-FIA World Championship twice, in 1997 and 2001, then spent over a decade away from international racing before the European KZ and KZ2 Championship brought it back in 2018 with 153 drivers from 46 nations. The site runs the French Karting School and hosts endurance races from two hours up to a full 24. Several shorter rental and tuition loops sit alongside the main circuit.
