Open since 1997 and continuously developed, Kartbahn Ampfing is an official Sodi World Series venue roughly 70km east of Munich in Upper Bavaria. The circuit measures 1,095m and is 10-12m wide.

Two kart classes run in the same session: 9hp rentals topping 80 km/h and 28hp machines reaching 120 km/h. Full floodlighting means evening racing is on the menu year-round. Helmets are provided free, with balaclava hire for a small fee.

Tips for New Drivers

The 28hp karts are properly fast at 120 km/h. If it's your first time, start on the 9hp class and work your way up. The jump in power catches people out. Evening sessions under the floodlights change the track character completely. Depth perception shifts and braking points feel different. Worth trying once you're comfortable with the layout in daylight.
