About Kartplex Racing

Designed by Canadian Formula 1 champion Jacques Villeneuve, Kartplex sits within the Area 27 motorsport complex near Oliver in British Columbia's Okanagan Valley. The full circuit is 1,210m with a separate 300m kids' course.

RMax 125cc two-stroke karts hit 100 km/h and deliver 2G of lateral acceleration. Standard rentals top out around 70-80 km/h. Kartplex claims to be the first karting centre in North America with fully automated AI safety systems.

Tips for New Drivers

The Okanagan Valley scenery is stunning but keep your eyes on the track. Jacques Villeneuve designed the layout to reward technical driving over raw speed. If you're bringing younger kids, the Sparky Karts on the 300m course start from age 3. Book the RMax experience if you want something genuinely quick, but be warned, 2G of lateral force is no joke.
